Q: Who is Sutography?
A: Sutography is owned by Holly and Mat Sutor,hence our name, Sutography. As a husband and wife duo we have been documenting weddings together for over 10 years and loving every minute!
Q: What sets you apart?
A: We are visual artists, we always see photos and we use an array of lenses to capture a variety of results for our couples. We love to see a grand scene as much as we love a close up of your hands touching. We provide our couples with 100’s of images, on average we deliver 1000-1600 final images that are all individually edited for color, contrast plus a mix of black and white too. Our experiences are not only just for us, we share those experiences with you. We work closely with our couples to understand your vision, we provide tips and guidance to help make your wedding day absolutely perfect.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in San Diego and we work out of our home studio located 10 minutes from Torrey Pines State Beach. Our home studio is filled with inspiring imagery, albums, videos and examples of all of our amazing products.
Q: Is this all you do?
A: Yes, we live and breathe photography and videography!
Q: Do you pose us?
A: We call our approach “pose – relax” There is an element of posing to make sure you are looking your best and then we have you relax to make it feel natural. When working with your family and wedding parties we make the entire process fun and easy, again, making sure everyone looks good on camera but it isn’t stiff or awkward. We provide you with plenty of direction to help put those nerves at ease.
Q: How long have you been documenting weddings?
A: We launched Sutography over 12 years ago and we have been honored to be documenting weddings ever since.
Q: Do you charge for travel or number of locations?
A: We do not have travel fees within San Diego County and our coverage includes unlimited locations.

Q: Will you travel outside of San Diego?
A: Of course, we have documented weddings in cities all over the US. Do not hesitate to contact us if you love our work.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes we have that covered and we are happy to provide you or your venue with those details.
Q: What equipment do you use?
A: We shoot entirely on Canon cameras and lenses and always stay on top of the latest technology available.
Q: Should we consider an engagement session?
A: Yes we definitely think so. Your engagement session is a great time to get to know each other and the way we approach photography. Together we brainstorm to choose a location and style that fits your personality. There is nothing like seeing yourself on camera through our eyes before your big day. A: Sutography offers excellent customer service, before, on and after your wedding day. We are prompt to answers emails and phone calls. We will work together to create a detailed wedding day photography timeline. We deliver our products in a timely manner and enjoy fulfilling all your package products.
